Kitchener Free Ride Park - Public Meeting

Apparently, a new planning consultant has been selected to take up design duties for the proposed free ride park in Kitchener.
According to a news post on the Waterloo Cycling Club website, there is a town meeting being held on July 11 (pdf) for interested parites (ie. riders) to go out and hear what the planners have to say, show support for the project, and provide feedback.
Let's hope this project keeps moving forward.

Good questions Nick. According to this forum ( www.pinkbike.com/forum/listcomments/?threadid=22402&pagenum=1 ), construction occurred over the summer, but I haven't heard that it is complete yet. Hopefully it will be open next season.
Based on what I've read, there will be no fee, but this thing has been in the works for years and things have changed significantly from the first iteration, so who knows what will happen when it finally opens.
