Serfas grips

I bought a new pair of grips for my bike. It's an inexpensive upgrade and my old grips had seen better days. The ends had been ripped off, allowing dirt to get into the handlebar. To be honest, I could have lived with my old grips but it is always fun to buy something new for your bike.

I went with Serfas hand grips because I had heard good things about them. Grips are another item that is difficult to buy without having tried them previously but they're not too expensive so if they turn out to be terrible, it's not a big loss.

Getting the old grips off the bike was as easy as slicing them with a knife. If I had wanted to save them it would have been much more difficult. To get the new grips on the bar, I used some hair spray. This allowed them to slide on the handlebar but become sticky when dried. Nobody wants grips that spin. I've heard that window cleaner works as well but takes longer to dry.

I'm happy with the Serfas grips. They are comfortable on the hands and are very tacky. It was a nice little upgrade that only cost ten dollars.
